Once in a Blue Moon, a warm breeze stirs up the weeds and dries the clay.
A pair of barn swallows dart from their mud, straw, and wood hiding place
and playfully swoop past your innocent ear,
leaving just a flashing glimpse of blue iridescence,
and your smile of surprise,
behind them.
